Montag and Faber looked at each other.

Faber poured two glasses of whisky. "We'll need these."

They drank from the poured glasses. The stress from the entire situation blew them away and left them exhausted.

So they drank some more, until the world faded and appeared happier.

He clutched a Bible under his large coat, sweating profusely at the idea of being caught.
