“Winners never quit and quitters never win” (Vince Lombardi). Vince Lombardi, arguably one of the best football coaches of all time, stated that if you give up on something, you would never be deemed successful. I stand by his words because it applies directly to my experiences in life. I have experienced failure on more than one occasion. Whether it’d be on a test or quiz and the lessons I have learned have changed my life for the better. It was in my geometry class sophomore year when I first experienced failure on the academic level. After a few failed tests and quizzes, first quarter came to a close and I ended with a 78.
