In all truth, Antonio still loves his faith. Even with the doubts in of Catholicism, himself, and religious principles, still at the heart of division he finds multiple truths to love and believe. Discovering different forms of spirituality rooted in more indigenous cultures shows Ultima’s role. Antonio sees Ultima as a source of power and spirituality that cannot find conflict with his catholic faith. She teaches him that a unified truth can be a combination of beliefs; as one faith will always be exclusively different. Antonio does well of not seeing the world in the three absolute, but sees currents of truth and power running throughout all the belief systems and ultimately sees them as coexisting, rather than completely opposed from each
