Family resource centers provide families with a space where they can have access to magazines, books and educational games. These resources help families acquire more knowledge of child development and childhood education. Coleman, 2013 suggest various activities that are found in family resource centers such as; adult publications,children's book, encyclopedias, and educational activities. (p.224-225)

It is very important to have a classroom resource center. As an educator I want parents to always have resources available to them.
