Fashion for a teenage girl in the 50s is something that was a switch for society. Their style consisted of full skirts and stuffed petticoats, or a really slim skirt and sweater with bow, and tight fitted pedal pushers or capri pants were very popular. Pants were also known as dungarees in the 50s. Another fashion choice was to wear a man's shirt outside their shirt. A very famous and popular trend in the 50s is circle skirt and a poodle skirt. Many times teenagers would wear cloths made of wool or felt fabric. Also wide belts around waist, flat heeled shoes, and bobby socks and anklets were popular trends. Today's teenagers like to hang out with friends. A few of the things that teenagers like to do for fun is usually go and do something with friends like go to movies, go out and eat, go shopping at the mall, or watch tv and be on phones and computers.
