The community of fast-food restaurant employees are seen in different views. Fast-food restaurant employees are people who are looking for a part time job. Employees are often seen as lazy, when in reality they're working at their best ability to have the necessities one needs to succeed. Restaurant employees are often perceived as the person that will be working at the restaurant for the rest of their lives but what people don't know is that most of those employees are striving to find a new job to live a better life. People claim that restaurant employees do not make enough money to get by, but what they do not know is that most of the employees are high school students working for themselves while attending school. People also assume that most of the employees do not have a high school diplomas. One of the major stereotypes for employees is that they will never get anywhere in life with the job they have. These stereotypes and misconceptions toward the community of restaurant employees make people believe what could be true but can also be a misconception. Yasmin claims the employees are not allowed to get any food for free but they do get a discount on anything they buy. If the employee is working at the moment the food purchases would have fifty percent off. So clearly the employees are not being given free food at all. They are still buy the food from the fast-food restaurant. Being unhealthy and working at a fast-food restaurant has nothing to do with working there. Everyone is their own person and decide what they want to eat. A person can not say it is the “free-foods” fault employees gain weight while working at the restaurant.
