Do you really think that video equipment can really take control somebody’s life? The book Fast Forward is a very interesting and intriguing book. Throughout this book I was on edge and it always kept me guessing. It was also a very unexpecting book many things happened that I really wasn’t expecting. It tells the story of a man and his obsession over VCRs and video equipment that eventually begins to take over his life. Don and Brenda are the two main characters that live in a very calm and friendly neighborhood. Don collects video equipment and stores it in his game room and practically lives in the room. One day his best friend Tony’s boss moves in one house down the street, which Tony hates his boss very much. His name is Marvin and he come to Don and Brenda’s house to ask for Don help with moving his furniture in his new house. Don was irritated by the fact that he has to leave his game room, but he helps him and Tony with the couch. This was the first don had ever heard of Marvin, which he seemed nice to him Tony hated him. They helped Marvin and as soon as they finished Don went as fast as he could back to his game room. …show more content…
Don was quite confused at the image he had seen but just went on as if it never happened. Brenda awakened Don the next morning very frantically with very shocking news, “Don… Marvin was murdered last night”. It was just what Don had saw the night before, he was horrified but he kept it all to himself and didn’t tell a sole. Could this VCR really predict what was going to happen in the future? He
