Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a play riddled with tragic twists of fate. An unfortunate combination of character flaws and pure fate end this story with many characters dead. Among those, are Romeo and Juliet. The fault does not lie solely with the stars above. The main cause of tragedy comes from the mere mortals within the confines of Shakespeare’s created world. The ones to blame for the death of these star-crossed lovers are none other than Montague and Capulet!
