Many women don't speak up about domestic violence because they feel trapped or embarrassed. and believe suicide is the only way. No one should ever be ashamed to share their story.
A close friend of mine was a victim of domestic abuse by her boyfriend. She didn't see a way out and took her own life on January 31st, 2015; She was only nineteen years old.
