1. Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at approximately 10:14 P.M., the Fayetteville Police Department Communication Center received a 911 call. The caller identifies herself as Carrie Roberts and stated she found a patient of the group home unresponsive and not breathing. Carrie Roberts advised the patient was lying on her stomach on her bed. She gave the address of 600 Dowfied Drive, Fayetteville North Carolina 28311.
2. The first responding Officer F. Hernandez arrived and made contact with Medical personnel and the caller. The caller identified herself as one of the group home workers. The victim was identified as Krystal Smith (black, female DOB 6/3/1989). Lieutenant Winger of Cumberland County EMS pronounced the victim deceased.
