Fever 1793: Nonfiction Vs. Fiction

Conflict is the problem the main characters face. Nonfiction and fiction both have conflicts that need to be resolved. For the fiction book Fever 1793, one of the conflicts is that The Yellow Fever epidemic is wiping out thousands of men, women, and children all around Philadelphia. Another conflict of this book was that after Mattie’s grandfather died, she was alone, because she wasn’t sure of her mother’s location. The conflict in my nonfiction source, "WHO Yellow Fever Media Centre," is that there is no prescribed medicine to cure Yellow Fever.
