Exercise, sport and physical activity play an important role in many people’s lives. With also many factors determining outcomes with participation and playing physical activites. FIGUEROA`S framework was introduced to explain the access and equity for an individual being a series of levels that explain certain factors in society that influence a person’s involvement and participation in sport, exercises and physical activities. Having five different levels of Individual, Interpersonal, Institutional, Structural and Cultural. But I will only being evaluating and discussing Individual, Interpersonal and Institutional. On how these levels affect others and me with the sport I’m playing this term of Basketball.
Figueroa’s Framework was developed as a tool to investigate the issues surrounding access, equity and equality in sport and physical activity. Each of the levels contained within Figueroa’s framework connect with the others and they all

Introducing more clubs and/or basketball courts around areas to allow better access and availability for the sport. As this may bring about more individuals liking the sport and better participation for it. Also the individual level to not set stereotypes for certain sports and allow people to play a sport they think they may enjoy would also bring about more participation and access in sport.
Figueroa’s Framework greatly determines the impact on participation and impact on society. As an individual’s access and equity greatly effect outcomes people have from sport or don’t and enablers and barriers also determine the amount of participation individuals will have in sport. But ultimately it is the individuals attitude, perception, genes and what they have developed from each level of Figueroa’s that determines there access on sport and impact on
