The all time famous movie “Rocky” of 1976, directed by John G.Avildsen and written by Sylvester Stallon demonstrated a man from rags to riches striving for the AmericanDream(Klemesrud,111). Starring Syslvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, and Talia Shire as Adrian Pennino, Burt Young as Paulie, Burt Young, Carl Weathers, Burgess Meredith, Thayer David, Joe, Spinell, and Jimmy Gambina. Rocky Balboa, or “ Italian Stallion” became a club fighter and performed in his local town in Philadelphia and then unexpectedly, Balboa had an opportunity to defeat the world champion. My reason being why Adrian is a risk taker is because she ultimately decides on going inside his apartment uncomfortably, and not knowing what could occur. In order to show that Adrian feels awkward they shoot a shot in where Rocky is taking off his shirt leaving on a tank at one side of the room, but still seeing Adrian at the first steps of the apartment standing nervously. The most romantic and slightly awkward scene of the movie was when Rocky told Adrian she was beautiful when he took off her glasses and hat and kissed her. The close- up shot and full shot of them when romantic gestures came in action convey to an adrenaline rush-kissing scene as they both slither down his wall. What captured my attention was when they kissed was the music playing in the background, but it wasn’t music imported to the scene it was music live in the scene, music that Rocky himself put on. I believe the reason being for that is for the audience to distinguish Rocky as warm-hearted guy even though he’s a fighter and to share the feelings of the characters how they feel about each other by letting the audience hear the intimacy of the kiss.
