Video Communication to the Families of the trapped miners
Please be advise that we experience a tragedy where a tunnel collapsed resulting in 33 employees trapped in a cave underground on August 5th , for 17 hours , at that time we have no way of knowing the fate of your love ones.
A small bore hole was drilled down deep enough to reach the workers. They sent up messages informing the rescuers they were still alive and was doing fine. The workers exercised and drink water from the storage tanks in order to survive.
The rescuers were able to thread them glucose gel , water and other food nutrients to help sustain their health until they were able to release them from the collapsed cave. They also dropped down a camera to see how the miners were doing. After they were confident that the miners were temporary secure, the rescuers continued to work on making another tunnel without causing another collapse.
We understand the frustration from the family, but the rescuers are working diligently to make sure there is some form communication to and from the families. The government will be censoring mail and restricting information to the miners. We ask that all mail and communication be only positive messages, because they are under such high stress that any negative information could be detrimental to their health. This is the reason why the mail was being scrutinized. We know the families were concerned that it can throw the miner over the edge and if they are not receiving communication from their families. We ask that you do not talk to the media as it will only heighten the situation. If you have any questions or concerns we have an 800 number set up for the miners family. I thank you for your understanding in the matter. They are trapped 2,400 feet below and communication is essential to their health and well-being. Therefore, a video conference system was thread down one of the three hold that was now in place so the families can speak and see their loved ones. Each of the families has been given one minute each to communicate. As the men get their strength and health back they will became increasingly demanding, such anger stress is common in groups under isolation”. Although the miners were requesting certain foods, the officials made sure they sent down the appropriate type of food so that the miners would not gain weight before their rescue. We ask that you stay in communication with your love one and provide them a constant update as we will provide one to you. It is important that they understand what the official are trying to do to bring them home safe. We apologize for this tragedy, but rescuers are working around the clock digging another tunnel to rescue you love ones. Again, our…
