The Apostle Paul writes this twelfth chapter of First Corinthians to correct a disagreement within the church concerning Spiritual gifts. Paul reminds the church that no gift is better than any other gift, but that all gifts are needful to make the work of the ministry complete. Paul further compares the imports of spiritual gifts with the body and how each body part is important to make the body complete. Just as all the levels of the food web work together and the abiotic factor of the environment are all connected, so God created mankind differently, but designed them to work together.
