In the Unites States of America there is an issue with some citizens that do unnecessary and it is also referred as a disrespectful action with the flag. This is a debate among the people whether is it legal or illegal, because some people say it’s a very disrespectful action and others say that if the people that do it are punished it can be a violation against their 1st amendment. The disrespectful act of burning the nation’s flag should be punished whenever someone does it. Currently in The United States of America flag burning is not illegal because the supreme court decided that the action is protected by the 1st amendment. I say it should be illegal because even though they say it is protected by your 1st amendment it is one of the most disrespectful actions against your nation. I do not like it at all because that also shows a lot your pride and how you are as a person and clearly that is not a good view. Nowadays people do it more than before maybe because they do not like their government or another issues it could be in their lives but that should stop as soon as possible. The argument of defense is always that the 1st amendment protects their actions and I totally agree with the amendments they give us a lot but there are some actions like this one that have to be judged differently. In that way people can take advantage of them and make inappropriate actions and just backed them up with these kind of arguments and for me that’s simply not enough, as I said before there are actions that have to be judged differently from the others.
