As I was born during the break of the millennium in 1999 I grew up completely oblivious from the technological revolution that my parents know too well. Every birthday or Christmas that I can clearly remember from my childhood is just a memory of me receiving the "new best thing" that a boy would want that year such as the new PlayStation or Xbox of the time. Yet these "new best things" have become the standards in my mind thereafter blinding me from the experiences that fill the minds of my parents in the time "back in their day." So when a school such as mine refuses to become a "computer school" under the reasoning that the simple pencil and paper is immeasurably superior to the computers we know so well, questions arise. These questions are easily answered by teachers referring to studies or the experiences "back in their day." However, this blindness of the youth spreads to many more things other than technology and arises many questions that, in some cases, are not even asked because the problem has become a standard.
