It was truly amazing to me how alike their insights were on Food Stamps. Food Stamps have and will continue to play a huge part of the American people’s lives. With prices continuing to rise, families are also continuing to not be able to provide for their families. The government has done an amazing job in coming up with programs like these for American people. Even countries outside of the U.S including Europe and Canada are participating in the program.
With all the ongoing controversies in the U.S, such as how Donald Trump claimed that by allowing lower class citizens of the U.S to be a part of the Food Stamp Program, it allowed opened doors for Americans to “sit on their ass and have money handed to them”. Trump continues to state that in America, “we already have 43 million people on Food Stamps” which is why we need to get rid of the program, he states. If we get rid of Food Stamps completely, we have more homeless people on the streets, we have more children in foster homes, we have more theft, and lastly, poverty continues to rise. We as American people cannot complain about wanting the government’s help more than getting upset in lines when a customer has Food
