According to hofstede culture is the communal programming of the mind which differentiates the affiliates of one human group from another. Culture plays a very important role in the success of an organization. As shown above in the force field diagram of lewis, Momen has its advantages and disadvantages of entering a new market like Pakistan. The people in both the countries almost share the same culture. The people in Pakistan are more fond of a change as they will now have a new place to socialize. They also share the same religion so the people will not be hesitate to try a new product as they know that it wont have any ingredients or they wont sell pork which could hurt the sentiments of Pakistanis. The people like to go out in groups with their families or their friends so it is the advantage to momen as they would be able to cater people in groups rather than catering individuals, bringing in more profits for the company whereas on the other hand they might face a problem with the female society as they are not encouraged to go out alone which is 52 percent of the total population so the company might lose a good chunk of its customers. Momen might face some problems too as the economic situation in Pakistan is not stable and people are scared to go out because of the terrorist activities going on now a days.
