Fordham University is a private institution that was founded in 1841. Fordham University is the highly ranked school of law, which is home to the first fashion law institute in the country. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 9,258 with 43% male students and 57% percent female students, and the campus size is 93 acres. There are also many things that make Fordham University unique, such as the clubs, scholarships opportunities, and they also offer a study abroad. Fordham University offer a study abroad, and 42% of Fordham undergraduates study abroad, also Fordham University is ranked third in the New York metropolitan area and 30th in the US for the percentage of undergraduate students who study abroad each year. At Fordham University there are many sports to choose from, there is baseball, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, etc. And they have a Men’s basketball division 1 sport. At Fordham University, Eliza Putnam and Samantha Norman, told a class about harassment claims against their professor, and the school said they have violated the code of conduct. There were many complaints about a philosophy professor at Fordham University, Dr. Jaworski, two of the complaints was for sexual harassment and another one was for unprofessional conduct. The professor, Dr. Jaworski was accused of making the female students feel uncomfortable and unsafe. This news impacted the school but especially the students. Ms. Norman, has been a student of Dr. Jaworski’s philosophy class as a freshman, but when she first heard the allegations against him, she immedicably dropped out of his class. She claims that she’s never had a personal experience in class that made her uncomfortable of unsafe but, she just wanted to keep her distance from him. As well as a sophomore student, Everyone Williams, has also dropped out of his class from what she has heard about Dr. Jaworski. It all started when Eliza Putman and Samantha Norman received an email from the school, asking them to meet with the department of public safety. They though that they were going to learn more about Dr. Jaworski’s behavior, but it was actually, that the two girls were being targeted.
