Forever Plaid is a singing/comedy group, made up of four men, Sparky, Jinx, Franky, and smudge. They are four nice guys who practice in the basement of Smudge’s parents house and only play little gigs like proms or birthdays. On there way to there first big gig they are killed in a car accident. The young men linger in limbo, as unresolved as their final chord, until the conjunction of various “astro-technical” phenomena allows them to return to Earth, perform their final concert, and hopefully win a place in Heaven.

My personal favorite character was Smudge, he was the more geeky technical guy who always had an answer for everything, which relates to me. Franky was my least favorite because at that performance he looked as if he didn’t want to be there at all for that matter, which ruined the mood for me a little bit. Three major conflicts in this play were that the Plaids were sent back to earth to finish one last big performance, but they didnt know how to start. Another is that the Plaids didn’t know how to egt where they needed to perform the final gig. Finally theywere given hints to solve from other sings from Heaven of whee to start and where to go that they needed to solve.

As i said earlier it seemed as if he hated the play and wanted to just leave even though he is the leader of the group. I read up on his personality, according to the director he is really enthusiastic and loves it. I’m hoping he was just not feeling good because that wasn’t good for him. His other partners brought it back up to good because of there enthusiasm and inclusion of the audience was just awesome. My personal favorite Smudge always used his voice in different was of pitch he would do impressions, do solos amazing just a great use of tone. Sparky’s movement was always great, it was motivated by the other characters kinda pushing him
