A time when I received forgiveness is when I let everyone down and got a DUI. When I look back at the different ways that I could have got home that night amazes me. I never asked for forgiveness but my mentor pushed me through a period of feeling lost and self-pity.

The benefits that I received from this is a career that has been guided from someone that has been there. People can drop you fast when you do something that is not right. The choices that I had to make weather to go recruiting fast or push out a year was a big decision to make but his advice was very useful and his input from a senior leader perspective was useful because he has sat on promotion boards. This was useful to hear what people had and what they did not.
