Foster the People is an American alternative indie pop/dance band of four members including; Mark Foster on lead vocals, guitar, and synthesizer, Mark Pontius on drums and backing vocals, Sean Ciminu on guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals, and Isum Innus on piano, guitar, and backing vocals. The band formed in Los Angeles, CA, in 2009.
They currently have three albums such as Torches, Supermodel, and Foster the People.
Torches is the first album Foster the People formed. Their songs have a mix between four different genres. For instance, it is alternative dance, indie pop, alternative rock, and neo-psychedelia.
