The “Founding Fathers” include tow major groups. The signers of the Declaration of Independence signed in 1776. The Framers of the Constitution were representatives to the Constitutional Convention and helped outline the Constitution of the United States. They were also very well educated for the time.
What did the Framers have as a vision for the President? The framers wanted the president to pertain national leadership, just like anyone would. Framers also wanted the president to have statesmanship in foreign affairs, and be in charge in times of war, and revolution along with taking part in enforcing the laws. The president has constitutional authority as what is listed in the constitution in Article II. Framers were also worried that they would give the president too much power. They thought the president would have too much democracy and wouldn’t respond in the right ways …show more content…
With this system, all three branches of government can limit the powers of others, so no one branch can become too powerful. Simply described as each branch checking the power of other branches to make sure that the power is balanced equally between all three of them. For example, the legislative branch is the one in charge of making the laws. Next, the executive branch can veto the law, this make it hard for the passing of the law by the legislative branch. Then the judicial branch can say that the law is unconstitutional and make sure that it doesn’t become a law. The legislative branch has the power to remove a president or judge that is no doing the job right. The executive branch appoints judges and the choice is approved by the legislative branch, and they also approve the choice of the executive branch. This is all so no one branch has too much
