“Inside Out” by Francisco Jimenez is a realistic short about a boy who finds it difficult to fit in. In the beginning, he goes to school for the first time. In the middle, he gets in a fight with a “popular” kid. In the end, Fransisco gives the “popular” kid a drawing he drew. This story shows that Francisco struggles fitting in.
