Ethical leadership has been described to cause an increase of the positive outcomes, in contrast, to decrease the risk of the negative outcomes. There are 5 principles of the ethical leadership: Respect, honesty, community, justice, service which these principles create a great ethical leader. First of all, respect is the predominant way in being an ethical leader; therefore, the leaders should respect to other people in order to get the same respect from them. Then, the ethical leaders should serve others and help them to fix their problems. In addition, if a leader is just, he/she should treat other people in a fair and equal way. In the 1932 presidential election, Franklin Roosevelt became the 32nd president of the United States and he is the longest serving president of the USA. In addition, when Roosevelt came to this duty, the country was in the worst ever depression and had an economic crisis; however, this hero saved all American people with his great program which is called New Deal. According to his Housing act of 1937 program, he provided subsidies for local housing agencies to improve the living condition of the poor families. So, Franklin Roosevelt is a real and great ethical leader because of 5 principles of the ethical leadership. First of all, he saved all America while struggling with a prevailing economic crisis and applied his great programs for people to live in a good and safe community; so, it is a principle of service. Then, he respected to all people of the society and got their love in a short period of time.
