With the rich tradition of Freemasonry deeply embedded in both process creating great architecture and in the founding of the United States itself, the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple, at 341 Bull Street, speaks to Savannah’s reflection of this and to its relationship to the urban landscape around it. The SRMT was originally envisioned as a home base for various chapters of masons that previously did not have a permanent meeting place.
