Last year was rough. Everyone tells you that high school will be the greatest years of your life. Many of us find out that it’s not as easy going as people make it seem. Classes were intense, diversity is obviously there, and you lose friends or trust in certain people. But I will not judge this year based on my freshman year experience. The purpose of this letter is to show who I am as a person and what I strive to achieve this year.
Who am I and what are the things I enjoy doing? All of my hobbies consist of being outside for all of summer and winter. Football and Fishing are the “sports” that I participate in during the summer while paintball is my go to “sport” for the fall and winter times. I even work at Crossfire Paintball on the weekends. For football I play defensive tackle and center for offense. This will be my sixth year playing the sport and my second for Laney’s JV team. While I’m not at practice my dad and I run offshore to catch Mahi, or more formally known as dolphin fish.

I look at my goals in life the same way, I expect struggle because if there isn’t any then that goal isn’t worth my time. The goals I have all revolve around the same thing, concentration. Concentration is the key to all of my other goals: organization, good grades, and going to college. Last year my biggest problem was organization, I would cram papers into my bookbag and pockets. My grades and overall person wasn’t altered by this but it made me stress more than I should’ve. I plan on going to college to get a degree in forensics so I can work for a CSI
