When discussing a topic on what to do our survey on, the three of us found ourselves talking about working while being in college. Both Nick and Zach are full time students, working an average of 25-40 hours per week. Jose is just a full time student, devoting all his time to his studies. As a group, we wanted to see if there was a correlation between the amount of hours a college student works, and the amount of credits they take. Aside from the numerical data, we were interested in seeing the stress levels for a college student's work-credit life. With this in mind, we came up with our topic. Our survey we conducted had four questions. They are:
Do you attend a two year or four year college?
How many college credits are you currently taking?

We had a total of 40 results from the survey. Of the 40 students, 36 of them were full time, and 20 of them worked while they were attending school. The data we received was very surprising. There was a very little correlation to the amount of hours that college students worked and the amount of credits that they are taking this semester. We also found that not many college students would say they are overly stressed with their workload. The majority of our results pointed in the direction that students have an average level of stress, or less. The results we received from our calculations were also not what we expected. The correlation coefficient with the two aspects of a student's life that we were testing was very weak. Before we started data collection, we were expecting a correlation coefficient around .8, but ultimately, our actual value was -.5665, proving there is a very weak linear relation. The average amount of credits a student takes according to our survey is 15.13, and the national average states that the average college student takes 15 credits per semester. These two numbers are extremely close, showing that our data is very accurate. The standard deviation for our data is
