Galactic Empire: a Force for Good The ruler of a galaxy stated "to ensure our security and continued stability, the Republic will be reorganized into the First Galactic Empire, for a safe and secure society" (Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith). Following the fall of the Old Republic during the Clone Wars, the Galactic Empire was able to rise to power in the place of the Old Republic and bring peace to a waring galaxy. The leader of the Galactic Empire was Emperor Palpatine, who was able to create a new order to benefit the people. The Galactic Empire was a force for good within the galaxy by, having brought peace to the galaxy, having allowed for advancements and they, also protected the citizens from corporations.

By quickly ending the war the Galactic Empire brought peace to the galaxy, well preserving Civilian lives. Secondly, the Galactic Empire pursued advancements in technology which were beneficial to the majority of people in the galaxy. The Empire used kyber crystals, a material that under the Old Republic had only been accessible by the elite Jedi, the Empire used the material to create the super laser which prevented uprisings on planets such as Alderaan (Star Wars).
