Galileo Galilei, Born on February 15, 1564 in Pisa, Italy. He was an astronomer, physicist, and philosopher who played a big role in the scientific revolution of the seventeenth century. He also created an improved telescope to study the stars.

On 1589 Galileo performed an experiment to disprove Aristotle's theory of falling bodies. He got on the Leaning Tower of Pisa and dropped two spheres. One was heavier than the other, he observed them as they hit the ground at the same time. He did this multiple times with different weighted spheres and they all hit the ground at the same time so, he disproved Aristotle’s theory of falling bodies. But he didn't stop there Galileo built a ramp with a sphere on it and used a unit of measurement. He rolled
