This is a developed country; think about how much a country like Haiti could be affected by similar problem. With countries hit by disasters and a poor economic state, it is common to see dozens of plastic bottles, soda cans, and other random, non-biodegradable, trash on her beaches, street corners and ditches. The main disposal methods are burning or burying, leading to tragic environmental consequences and a lower standard of living for her people.
