Garcia girls not only struggle in love, but also fit in a new environment. They left behind in a strange land in the early years because of the misfortune, they have to live in a strange environment and surrounded by the father's power and the mother's stateliness, the young spirit of the adventure and impulse of rebellious speak a strange language as well,. However, time changes everyone slowly. Even if their life was twists and turn, the Garcia sisters were still trying to find themselves in the chaos. The growth is pain, whether it is given by the community, or inner struggle. They were longing for independence and freedom, but could not get rid of the cultural orientation and a sense of belonging which bring by language. They like a kite, …show more content…
On the one hand, their motherland is full of turmoil and persecution, which is like a cloud of life shadows shrouded in the four sisters’ heart. On the other hand, they belong to the national aristocracy, which makes them destined to have the opportunity to get rid of the shade and find new homes. Just because of this special identity, making them wandering in superiority and inferiority, going forward in the confusion, growing in the understanding. Additionally, they try to integrate into the new world because they had to give up the superior life. At the beginning of immigrant life, they constantly query their own for life, for love, for the family's view and then to solve their confusion, to become more strong in the struggle. Every girl has happiness and lost, self-trust and self-denial when they grew up, also encountered bad people, found a lifetime of confidant.
