Garner's Argument Against Racial Profiling

After reading this article I wasn’t shocked that racial profiling was still such a big issue with police officers. Especially when now there are movements all over the country standing up for their rights such as the Black Lives Matter movement, which is a movement protesting the “unequal treatment of black people by police in the United States.” This was sparked when many found out the “death of Eric Garner and the series of other deaths of unarmed black men.” It is very disappointing that it has came down to protesting to get this important message out to police officers knowing that their jobs is to keep the peace within cities, states and as a country.
