When you read this some will say the opposite and say that a union should be made between a man and a woman. Yet, aren't we all human, just like back in the time of the civil rights movement, shouldn't we accept everyone even if they are different from us. We should allow and accept Gay Marriage.
One truth is that children and gay couples are being denied the chance to live a happy life. It is stated in the Declaration of Independence that a human basic rights are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. The Supreme Court has also declared "freedom of personal choice in matters of marriage and family life is one of the liberties protected by the Due Process Clause"(“Gay Marriage”). So we are denying someone's personal preference. Ruining chances for orphan kids to have a family. "We should be begging gay couples to adopt children. We should see this as a great boon that gay marriage could bring to kids who need nothing more than two loving parents." -Ezra Klein(“ Gay Marriage”) . In the United States, around 115,000 children are waiting to be adopted. This kids just need love just like any other kid.
