In conclusion gender norms in society lead to unfair situations between gender and reduces the growth of society by continuing to put us in certain lanes which are deemed abnormal if we start to get out of later on. It can be argued that gender norms may not do as much harm but they are detrimental to a working society that promotes acceptance and equality but doesn’t pursue it entirely or for each specific group in certain situations. As a society, we can begin to implement these strategies that help to change our cultural mindset of what it means to be a male or a female in order to completely end all gender norms that inhibit people from being who they really are and promote negative mindsets.
