Sports can be both fun and entertaining. Playing sports can also offer other benefits such as, the forming of lasting bonds, sportsmanship skills, and also help with communication and physical skills. Most physical sports are healthy because they involve running, jumping, stretching and coordination skills. In addition the skills mentioned before, also enforce an environment purged in effort, commitment, and participation, which can help provide important life lessons. At BWW they serves food and have a large amount of flat screen TV’s with all sports. While you are enjoying your meal, all types of sports are playing on each TV. They play basketball, hockey, football, baseball, golf. All the sports listed are not played by women. In BWW they watch men sports majority of the time. It is rare that you see women sports playing. Television both shapes and reflects the attitudes of our society. What in type of sports entertains the audience? If you were to glance through a paper’s sports section or flick through the sports channels the probability of reading about or seeing women’s sports would be low. In men’s games, there was an average of 24.3 on-screen graphic statistics and 33.3 verbal statistics, for a total average of 57.6 statistics per game. Nowadays, women are starting to earn more than they used to, and the number of women that take part in professional sports has risen. Most sports require skill. Skill is a combination of accuracy and coordination. Females happen to be better than males in most fine motor skills (__).

Women are perceived as inferior to men when it comes to sports. Society has enforced these norms by using media for example. There are an unequal amount of sports ads that feature men most of the time. Women have the potential to shape their body image into a more sport like appearance. Women could play men's sports regardless of potential. Having the mentality of sports not being for women, it’s all about appearance when it comes down to women sports, and women are not interesting is a false statement. Soon the marketing executives and mainstream media need to realize how the next generation wants to see its female athletes. Making deals with television stations to play more women sports for a trial period of time will show that women sports are able to generate enough revenue to broadcast these games in more attractive times on television. Marketing female athletes will increase the sale of products which will bring revenue to product makers and media outlets. Returning to fundamentals and focusing on them can help to make women’s sports more exciting.
