People underestimate a girl’s power and say they can be meek and shy in stories, tv, and sadly in reality as well. During the party a young girl and the colonel start to debate that women have less of a nerve and will scream even when slightly in terror. This doesn’t go well and gets more people's attention. Though ever so sneaky a cobra enters the room with only one to notice, Mrs Wynnes. In the short story “ The Dinner Party” by Mona Gardner she expresses that with life comes gender stereotypes and girl’s can have a power.
