General Henry Knox was the artillery expert in the Revolutionary War. He served for almost twenty years. Knox loved to read books. He particularly loved reading about artillery. That’s where he learned all of his information about artillery.
Knox was born from Irish descent. He had nine siblings. After his father’s death he took over the household to take care of his family. He had to leave school at an early age because of this. In order to earn money, Knox worked as a clerk at a bookstore until he was able to later open up his own bookstore.
Knox was a Patriot and supported America’s rights to liberty. He was a part of the Boston Massacre. He fought in The Battle of Bunker Hill and helped George Washington with the Battle of
