Genesis, Job and Antigone are written works that despite the fact that they were written in different time frames, they talk about the same topics such as the discussion of the matters regarding the laws of God and laws of man, punishments for disobedience, and the role of knowledge. Even though, all three of these written works discuss and acknowledge all four already mentioned factors, and each of these works have their own unique way to approach and explain these factors.
Genesis, Job and Antigone are very alike because they talk about the faith and obedience that the characters have for God in each story. For instance, in Genesis, it is seen how following the discovery of a new world and the creation of a man and a woman, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth...And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul"(Genesis 1:1 &2:4), God warned both Adam and Eve that they could not

For example, Genesis tells the story of how the world was created and how the two first humans beings were created. Meanwhile, job was written after genesis and tell the story of a man who was faithful to God and got punish by the devil, having God's permission to do so. Finally, Antigone was written 441 BC and tells a story about a girl that stood up for her beliefs until death. Also, another difference between Genesis, Job and Antigone is that both Genesis and Job are narrative stories , meanwhile Antigone is a play.
Despite, the differences between Genesis, Job and Antigone , they explain very well the multiple type ways of punishing someone for breaking the laws of God, laws of man and disobedience. For each of these works, each of the already mentioned factor plays an important role because it each of them represents an unique characteristics for each of the written
