Introduction:
There has been a continuing argument whether humans are the main cause if Global Warming or if it’s a natural process of the earth. In this speech, we will discuss both sides of the arguments, the impact and come to a final decision. Global Warming is the average temperature around the world that is rising. Green house gases are the main culprits of Global Warming, which are the gases that trap heat around the Earth. The present situation of the Earth caused by Global Warming is that the temperature will rise from 0-6 degrees which will impact the poles. The enhanced greenhouse effect is an increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This information was from http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/page-4389
Natural Causes:
Global Warming is not all down to humans, there are also natural causes for Global Warming. One of the natural causes are, when a volcano erupts it releases large amount of ash and Sulphur dioxide into the stratosphere, which is the layer of air 10-50 kilometres above the earth’s surface, we call this layer the cloudy layer. Once the ash reaches the stratosphere it will evenly spread. The ash acts as a shade for the earth but it will cool it by 0-1˚C and only last a few years, this information was taking from http://www.skepticalscience.com/Stratospheric-Cooling-and-Tropospheric-Warming.html
Human Effects:
Global Warming is thought to be mainly a human cause, this is because, before we stared impacting on Global Warming, the Earth’s natural processes impacted it and balanced it out with trees absorbing the carbon dioxide. Since humans have started to impact Global Warming, with carbon dioxide, with many different things. Through human activities such as deforestation, creating cement, and burning fossil fuels. Humans have increased impressive CO2 concentration by a third since the Industrial Revolution began. This is the most important long-lasting "forcing" of
