George Washington Carver's most important legacy was his education that he used to lend a helping hand to those in need. Carver went to college to become a botanist and had a huge impact on and the field. He then used that knowledge he gained from school to help poor farmers with their farming. Mr. Carver was a very encouraging indivisual as well. While he was at Tuskegee he wanted helped other African-American men learn skills to help them get jobs. Then he taught an argronomy class to poor farmer in order to help them make more money for themselves. He taught them that growing the same thing in the same spot every year was not goog for the soil and he proposed they grow other things such as peanuts, soy beans, and sweet potatoes.
