After the war he participated in continental congress and was a Federalist, though he did not show it to the public. Soon, America unanimously voted George Washington to be president because of his excellent political skills. Primarily, George Washington’s presidency was more influential because he showed protesters the government would not tolerate rebellions and he influenced the amount of peacefulness in the country and the peacefulness with other countries.
