Location of the map :Jamaica is a small island nation located in the north western Caribbean sea around about 150 km south of Cuba, and about 190 km west of a island called Hispaniola. Jamaica is located between the longitudes of 76° and 79°W, and the latitudes of 17° and 19°N. Jamaica was formed when the North American and Caribbean tectonic plates collided about 25 million years ago.
Capital city:The capital city of Jamaica is Kingston, which is located on the south-eastern coast of the island.kington is the largest city in Jamaica, it is the centre of industries and entertainment over 110,152 live in Kingston and the surrounding takes up one fifth of Jamaica’s population.
Language :The official language of Jamaica is English but they speak with distinct accent. Although English is the official language most Jamaicans who live in the rural areas speak a Creole dialect.it is called Patois.
Population:Jamaica is a very small island with only a population of 2.5 million people. Most Jamaican people live in city and 1/3 of the population of Jamaica live in Kingston there more than 90% of the population is of African descents. But many other people from different countries such as India, Germany and Syria come to the island to find jobs.
Main religion: Jamaica are very spirtrials people and they believe in many types of religion such as: Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, and Islam. Religion is very important in Jamaica there is over 80% of Jamaicans are Christians

Flora/faunaJamaica is home for endangered Homerus swallowtail, which is the largest butterfly in the whole western hemisphere, the wing length of the butterfly is 25 cm which make it bigger
