Imagine going back home after living somewhere else and finding out the truth of things; and that a person or people are not how you thought they were for many years. Also feeling betrayed and different. That's the case of Jean Louise Finch in Go Set a Watchman. This novel Go Set a Watchman, is very interesting by the way it's written and everything that happens in it. Go Set a Watchman, was a big surprise when it came out because it came out 55 years later from the first book published, To Kill a Mockingbird. Even though To Kill a Mockingbird was published first, Go Set a Watchman was written first. Even though they are just friends he really wants to marry her but she really doesn't know if she's willing to take that step with him. Even though Henry and Jean Louis are only friends they do show some affection for each other and aren't afraid of what people say or think. Henry Clinton is four years older than Jean Louise and he works for Atticus Finch as an attorney, but Atticus really sees him more like a son. Atticus Finch is a 72 year old man that is very sick and he is also a lawyer. He's a man that really has to keep a good reputation because in Maycomb being a Finch was a big deal. He is father of Jean Louis Finch; Alexandra and Jack are his siblings. Him, as a father, he really doesn't show a lot of feelings and isn't very open to his daughter. But, even if there daughter-father relationship isn't that great they know they love each other.
In Conclusion, the characters in Go Set a Watchman are very unique and have there own mind of thinking. Especially Jean Louise that feels lost and different after finding out a truth she would've rather not find out. This the point where she just feels betrayed, lost, different and doesn't know if she should stay home or leave
