The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the prominent landmarks in Northern US today. Globally, it is among the longest suspension bridges. The Golden Gate Bridge starts from the San Francisco bay and extends into the Pacific Ocean. The Golden Gate Bridge links San Francisco with and Marin County, California and today are one of the busiest highways in the US.
The construction of the Golden Gate Bridge started in January 1933. However, the idea of construction of a bridge to connect the two regions had been accepted as early as 1916. Leon Moisseiff designed the final draft of the bridge in 1923. However, due to lack of finances, the construction could not begin. However, in the 1932 San Francisco founder, Amadeo Giannini agreed to finance the project
