Goldilocks and the 3 bears, originally written by Robert Southey, is a book about a girl and 3 bears. Little Red Riding Hood, written by Charles Perrault, is a story where a wolf impersonates a girl’s grandmother. These are both very good stories and are well written. There are some similarities and differences of these two great stories in the way these two girls act. Some of their decisions are good and some are bad, so let’s look at their decisions. Goldilocks and the 3 bears is an interesting book in the way Goldilocks makes decisions. First of all, Goldilocks makes the decision to walk alone in the woods, almost like she is hoping to find something interesting. Second of all, she knocks on this house to see if anyone is home, when she knows no one is home, she still decides to just mosey on in! Like, really? She sees 3 bowls of porridge on a table and decides not to try just 1, not 2, but all 3 of them?! If this girl was my child, she would be locked in her room and fed every morning and night. Then, Goldilocks decides to sit down in these chairs, one is too big, one is too small, and one is just right. So, now Goldilocks is feeling a little tired, so she goes to …show more content…
There are some similarities and differences for these two girls. For starters, they both had the balls to walk in the woods alone. Next, they both were very gullible, Red Riding Hood never notices that her grandmother isn't her grandmother, also Goldilocks doesn't even consider that that porridge and chairs and beds may be someone else’s. For some differences, Goldilocks was trespassing inside those bears home, and Little Red Riding Hood was just being dumb because she still continues to walk in the woods even after she hears that their is a big bad wolf on the loose. Little Red Riding Hood had a reason to be in the woods, Goldilocks didn’t. Both of these girls were very brave to be in the woods
