Good Vs. Evil In Just Lather That's All

Is it not an everyday struggle an individual faces, on how to contrast or differentiate between what is good and what is evil? There are many situations where it is crystal clear or upfront on what is right, yet at least once in a lifetime an individual must have questioned himself on what could be the right thing to do. “Just Lather, That’s all” follows the similar outline where the main character, the barber is too stuck between an everyday struggle where he is to choose between good or evil, and mortality versus iniquity. In the story, the main character, the barber goes through an internal conflict on coming up with the decision that may change or affect many things that are to come. In “Just lather, that’s all”, the barber makes a right decision as to not kill Captain Torres because of his pride in his work, not a murderer and face the outcome/ consequences.
To start, the barber shows that he is a responsible barber in the town of Columbia by the way he takes pride in his work.
