My Career Goals

I feel it’s very important to set goals towards the future you want. If there’s something you want you should always map out a way to pursue to it by setting individual goals. Each individual goal ultimately leading up to the desired goal of success. Presently I am attending Clinton Junior College in Rock Hill, S.C. My course of study is Liberal Arts, it’s a two year degree. Liberal Arts are becoming a very popular degree. This makes the jobs in that field very demanding. While in school I plan to start hosting a few school events such as talent shows and fundraisers to get a better connection with school body and people period. I feel I have a personality that anyone will enjoy and adapt to. As I work though Clinton I plan to transfer to a 4-year university.
The two schools that I have been researching are Howard University and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University. I learned that both schools have outstanding Communications programs. Howard University is in Washington, D.C. It has its own on-campus television and radio broadcasting stations. North Carolina A&T University is in Greensboro, North Carolina. It also has its own broadcasting stations. While working through school I plan to continue to be very involved with school functions and festivities, networking and meeting new people. By pursuing a communications degree I plan become the personality for the schools radio broadcast. By my senior year I plan to have an internship at major radio broadcasting
