According to a government document Fact Sheet: Racial Profiling racial profiling is known to degrade people of their race, religion, and nationality. Most states do not tolerate racial profiling; however, it still occurs in specific places. According to Myrdal’s view, the root cause of the problem was racism. A general approach is known to be color blind racism meaning treating individuals equal regardless of their race, ethnicity, or tradition. The ideology was believed to end racial discrimination and perhaps racial profiling.
